Dynamic and sculptural, this Abaca Dhurrie design applies the collection's hand-coiled technique to a bold pinwheel-and-star motif. Overlapping black discs whorl around each other in a continuous, rotating rhythm, with small ivory triangles marking a four-pointed star at the pattern's center and edges. The dense, rope-like construction gives the design real dimension and a satisfying, tactile heft, while the graphic black-and-ivory contrast lends the piece a bold, dramatic presence. This striking, hand-crafted pattern brings movement and energy to a room, and its sturdy, natural-fiber construction is well suited to sun-drenched or high-traffic spaces. Available as a custom carpet through Costikyan, this design can be tailored in size, color, and construction to suit your space, and pairs naturally with the other Abaca Dhurrie colorways.
