Bold and hypnotic, this Abaca Dhurrie design applies the collection's hand-coiled technique to a concentric diamond chevron. Alternating bands of jet black and natural ivory rope nest inward toward small offset centers, their crisp zigzag lines creating an optical, almost op-art rhythm across the field. The dense, rope-like construction gives the pattern real texture and a substantial, tactile heft, while the stark black-and-ivory contrast lends the piece a bold, graphic presence. This dramatic, hand-crafted pattern makes a striking statement underfoot, and its sturdy, natural-fiber construction is well suited to sun-drenched or high-traffic spaces. Available as a custom carpet through Costikyan, this design can be tailored in size, color, and construction to suit your space, and pairs naturally with the other Abaca Dhurrie colorways.
